Who we are

The Disciplined Wallet is a zero-based budgeting tool for Christian men, operated by The Four Stewardships LLC. “We” means The Four Stewardships LLC; “you” means the person using The Disciplined Wallet.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and the data you enter into the app to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

How we use it

We use your information solely to operate the product — to save your data, sync it across devices, process payments, and send service communications. Marketing emails are opt-in and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Connecting financial accounts (Plaid)

The Disciplined Wallet lets you connect your bank and financial accounts through Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”). If you choose to connect an account, Plaid collects and shares with us information such as account and routing details, account balances, and transaction history, according to the permissions you grant. We use this information solely to provide budgeting and money-tracking features in the app, and we do not sell it. By connecting an account you also agree to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy, which governs how Plaid handles your data. You can disconnect your accounts at any time, which stops further collection via Plaid.

Consent

We collect, process, and store your data only with your consent. You provide that consent when you create an account and accept this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and — for financial data — through Plaid’s explicit account-connection flow each time you link an institution. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting linked accounts or requesting deletion of your account.

Your data is yours

Your account data is owner-scoped at the database level so only your account can read it. You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time.

Third parties

We use trusted providers — Supabase for secure storage and Stripe for payments — solely to run the product, sharing only what is necessary.

We do not sell or share for advertising

We do not sell your personal or financial information, ever, and we do not use advertising trackers (Meta, TikTok, Google pixels, etc.) that would associate you with this app.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your data, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share, but you may still ask). Residents of US states with privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Washington, and others — and individuals in the EU, UK, and Canada have these rights. International users (EU, UK, Canada)

If you use the app from outside the US, your data is processed and stored in the US. Our legal bases are your consent and performance of our agreement with you. You may withdraw consent at any time and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Retention, security & age

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, except records we must keep by law. We use industry-standard security, including row-level security scoping your data to your account; no method is 100% secure. The app is for users 18 and older.
